FEMAP Graphical User Interface
FEMAP has been a native Windows program since the introduction of v4.0 in December of 1992. Shown below is the latest evolution of the FEMAP interface. V5.0 adds a new command toolbar seen on the right, has reduced the working size of the Messages and Lists Window (which can be maximized by double-clicking in it, or pressing the Ctrl-U keyboard shortcut), and added ToolTips for the toolbar buttons.
The status tray at the bottom of the screen displays a running count of
nodes and elements, on-line help as you move through the menu, and quick
access to the current Property, Load Set, Constraint Set, Active Group, Output
Set, and access to the new Dynamic Query function.
